Berlin, November 30, 2023 - The Hubject Plug&Charge ecosystem is growing very fast, and we are happy to welcome EVTEC as our new partner. EVTEC passed the EVSE CHECK audit with several models of their Product family.
The Hubject EVSE CHECK enables EV industry service providers access to the global Hubject Plug&Charge ecosystem. Specifically, Hubject’s testing process checks the Plug&Charge relevant ISO15118-2 communication between an EV, EVSE, CPMS and the Plug&Charge ecosystems.
EVTEC demonstrated that their EVSE controller, in conjunction with firmware version 4.0.0-alpha.17, can perform ISO 15118-2 Plug&Charge communication using OCPP 1.6. All EVTEC chargers share the same charging controller and firmware. Therefore, the Plug&Charge EVSE CHECK certification is valid for the whole EVTEC charger family.
To guarantee the long-term quality of the whole system, the EVSE CHECK is mandatory for every EVSE manufacturer that wants to get access to the Hubject Plug&Charge environment. Tested successful EVSE manufacturers are authorised to use the Hubject EVSE CHECK Logo as proof for CPOs and others that it is a validated solution. The company will also be listed on the Plug&Charge ecosystem website: https://www.hubject.com/plug-charge-ecosystem
