Scaling Last-Mile Electrification: The Technical Reality of ISO 15118 for Fleets

Register Now

As last-mile delivery fleets transition to electric, the operational complexity of charging thousands of vehicles simultaneously has outpaced simple hardware installation. This webinar will move beyond high-level policy discussions to focus on the technical implementation of ISO 15118 in fleet environments.

Hosted by Hubject, this session will feature technical experts from PowerFlex to dissect how ISO 15118’s Plug&Charge and Smart Charging features are currently being deployed to maximize uptime, reduce operational friction, and manage energy loads for mission-critical delivery vehicles.

What We'll Cover

Why Zero-Touch Charging Matters for Fleets – Acknowledging the operational need for Plug & Charge in high-volume depots and how automated authentication improves charging reliability at scale.

Smart Charging with ISO 15118 – See how ISO 15118’s precise load balancing helps prevent grid updates and ensures vehicles are charged and ready for their next shift.

Fleet-Friendly Certificate Management – Learn how certificates are installed, updated and maintained behind the scenes, ensuring operation without requiring drivers to do anything.

Lessons from Real World Deployments – Hear what real-world rollouts within PowerFlex-powered fleets have shown us about error handling, telematics integration, and vehicle-to-charger communication.
