BERLIN, December 16, 2025 — Hubject, the global leader in eMobility interoperable charging solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Go Electric Stations (GES), an Italian eMobility Service Provider operating across Europe. This partnership integrates Hubject's ISO 15118-based Plug&Charge technology across GES's NextCharge platform, delivering seamless, automated charging experiences to EV drivers throughout Italy and broader European markets.
The partnership strengthens both companies' European market positions by implementing Plug&Charge capabilities across GES's network of nearly 3,000 charging points. Through this integration, drivers using the NextCharge platform will experience frictionless charging with secure, automated vehicle authentication, eliminating the need for apps or RFID cards at compatible charging stations.
Through this partnership, GES enhances its NextCharge platform with advanced Plug&Charge functionality while connecting to Hubject's extensive ecosystem of automotive manufacturers and technology providers. This integration creates mutual value for Hubject's European network expansion and GES's mission to simplify the charging experience for drivers across their aggregated infrastructure.
"This partnership with Go Electric Stations demonstrates how Plug&Charge technology enhances the user experience across diverse charging networks," said Christian Hahn, CEO of Hubject. "GES's platform approach, connecting drivers to charging infrastructure across Italy and Europe, aligns perfectly with our vision of seamless eMobility. By implementing Plug&Charge across their network, we're enabling drivers to experience truly effortless charging while supporting GES's growth in the rapidly expanding European EV market."
"We are excited to partner with Hubject to bring Plug&Charge technology to Go Electric Stations," said the Go Electric Stations Team.”. "This collaboration marks an important step in delivering a more seamless, secure, and user-friendly charging experience to EV drivers across our infrastructure."
Key Benefits of the Partnership:
The integration leverages Hubject's ISO 15118 standards for Plug&Charge functionality to ensure secure communication between vehicles and charging infrastructure across GES's network. The partnership will roll out progressively, with initial Plug&Charge capabilities expected to go live within the coming month across supported hardware platforms.
