Recap // intercharge network conference 2017

Over the past 5 years, the intercharge network conference has established itself as the international event in the area of digital mobility solutions. For the fifth time, the Hubject-organised conference offered a platform for decision-makers in economic and political circles to share their views on the status and future of emobility.

From the 17th to 18th of May, Hubject invited over 500 guests to the Humboldt Box in Berlin to share insights on trends, visions and new business models in the area of emobility. In addition to emobility, this year’s conference also focused on issues pertaining to future sustainable mobility concepts. The participants engaged in discussions on new services and technologies currently moving the industry, such as mobility-as-a-service concepts, blockchain technology and digital interconnection of vehicles in general.

In addition to six podium discussions, keynotes where held by Wilko Andreas Stark (Daimler AG), Patrick Setzer (BMW Group), Elke Temme (innogy SE), Thomas Daiber (Hubject GmbH), Dr Thomas Sedran (Volkswagen AG), Simon Lonsdale (Chargepoint, Inc.), Dr Helmut Morsi (European Commission, DG-Move B), and Christoph Bornschein (Torben, Lucie und die gelbe Gefahr GmbH).

There was also much more presented off-stage, at the living marketplace, where exhibitors like BMW, Bosch, Daimler, innogy, Ultra-E, Webasto, and Hubject demonstrated their current solutions. The two-day conference finally concluded on the sunny Humboldt Box balcony.

We thank all of our speakers and participants for the exciting conference days and the celebrations we shared together at our five-year company anniversary.
